It was in this landscape that the Loy family’s relationship with agave first took root.
1954
In 1954, at only seventeen years old, Don Manuel Loy planted his first 3,000 agaves on a small parcel of family land. For seven years, he cultivated them with patience and purpose until their first harvest — beginning a lifelong devotion to agave.
1992
In 1992, Don Manuel began cultivating agave professionally, bringing together generations of agricultural knowledge and an unwavering reverence for the land.
Exceptional tequila does not begin in the bottle. It begins in the field.
2019 / 2021
After decades devoted to agave, the Loy family began building its distillery in Ayotlán in 2019. In December 2021, the first batch of tequila was produced — transforming a vision shaped over a lifetime into an enduring family achievement.
